Self taught artist Originally from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, travels in life have taken me through the art rich communities around the world, finally moveing back to my home town Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Painting is a passion of my creative side and the drive to learn has taken my art into a full time career. My primary focus has been to capture feeling, color and depth and in this regard I have been influenced by the Masters and the Group of Seven. I have followed the techniques of Stephen Quiller, a master of color and studied the theories of Alberti and other sources such at the Metropolitain Museum of Arts teachings for structural technique.
